WHEN:
The concert has been confirmed for Saturday 16th September 2017.
Due to the growing number of students and limited seating at the venue, the concert has been divided into three seperate concert sessions so that we can do our best to ensure families are able to secure seats to watch their performers and so that our littlest dancers don’t have to sit through an entire concert or have to leave during and create a distraction for other guests.
First Session: 10 – 10.30am
Wed & Sat Petite Feet, Thur & Fri Tots in Tutus, Thur & Fri Petite Feet, Mon & Tues Tots in Tutus and Monday & Tuesday Petite Feet classes perform.
Second Session: 10.40 – 11.20am
Wed Solo/Duo, Wed K-2 Twist Twirl & Tap, Thur Hip Hop, Mon & Tues Fairy Feet, Wed preschool Twist Twirl & Tap, Mon Tap Extension, Thu & Sat Twist, Twirl & Tap, Mon Musical Theatre 2-4 & Thur Fairy Feet classes perform.
Third Session: 11.40 – 12.20pm
Moana Magic, Sat Extension Technique, Thur Hip Hop, Mon Musical Theatre K-2, Wed Solo/Duo, Sat Fairy Feet, Tues Spin Shake & Hop 2-4, Wed Fairy Feet, Thur Night Acro & Tues Spin Shake & Hop K-1 classes perform.
WHERE:
Star of the Sea Theatre @ Stella Maris College
Conveniently located at the northern end of Manly Beach at Queenscliff, on the corner of Collingwood Street and Iluka Avenue. The theatre is located within the grounds of Stella Maris College. Parking is available at the northern end of the beach (4 hours free for Northern Beaches Council rate payers) or in the surrounding streets.
Please note that the venue is multi – level with stairs and has amenities. Wheelchair access is available (but very limited, so if you require please advise well in advance).
Strollers & prams are not permitted within the theatre, however we will have a designated area on concert day for “Pram Parking”.
TICKET SALES:
Tickets are conveniently available for purchase via our website shop for the following prices:
a) One session prices (for those with children in just performances within the one session):
$19 per adult
$14 per child.

b) Multiple session price (for those with children in multiple performances across multiple sessions)
$30 per adult

Please note that you are not required to purchase tickets for littles performers in session one. They will sit with parents (on laps) before and after their performance as they are too young to go backstage. If performers from session one are returning to other sessions to watch older siblings/ friends they are permitted to purchase a seat for that session.
Seating Limitations
In the first instance, we appreciate you limiting the number of tickets you purchase to 5 per family, due to limited theatre seating and so that all families have the opportunity to come and watch their dancers. As the concert draws nearer we may be able to release more tickets.
Refunds are not available for ticket sales, however your tickets can be transferred to other, if you do so, please email the studio to let us know so there is no confusion upon entry to the Theatre on the day.
Presenting your ticket on concert day:
For access into the theatre, you will need to provide a print out of your ticket purchase confirmation (this will be emailed to you once you have paid for and confirmed your ticket purchase online)
COSTUMES:
The hire cost for our beautifully hand made costumes is $25 per costume.
All students that participate in classes that are 45 minutes or less in duration will require 1 costume.

Students in classes that are 60 minutes or more will do two concert routines and require 2 costumes.

When securing your costume hire online, please be sure to select the appropriate hire option. Costume hire is to be confirmed and paid for on our website shop.
Costume Size?
Each student will be measured during class and will have a costume fitting prior to concert day to ensure everything is just perfect (they get very very excited about this!!)
When will you get your costume?
Babies, Tots and petite feet costumes will be given to parents the week of the concert so they can arrive dressed to the performance and wait with parents until their performance They will not be required to be back stage. All other classes will be required to be dropped off back stage where they will be looked after and dressed by their class parent helpers, until the conclusion of their session.
Returning costumes:
After students have performed, they will need to return costumes to the designated helpers in labelled bag provided (for the majority of students, again, if instructions for your particular class vary, you will be notified by your teacher in the lead up to concert day).
Please ensure your child has a set of play clothes to change into after their perform and return their costume. If costumes are not returned, you will be responsible for payment in full.
In addition:
As a general rule all students require dance stockings and dance shoes, even our babies, tots and petite feet dancers. If you are unsure what tights and shoes are required, please confirm with teacher.
Some classes will be required to purchase additional items for concert day (your teacher will notify all students and parents and cost will be kept to a minimum).
HELPERS:
Many hands make light work… and concert day needs lots of hands. If you are able to lend a hand on the day please let your teacher or Miss Mia know (hello@bbstudio.com.au) as we have a variety of fun roles for parent helpers . Thank you in advance for putting your hand up to help out x
Helpers required for the following roles:
1. Two parent helpers from each class for backstage pre and post performance support for students
2.Two cake & refreshment stall helpers per session. Helpers to be responsible for the stall during, before and after a performance session (of course you will not be expected to help out during your own child’s sessions, there is plenty of time during other sessions and from when you drop your performer off backstage to when the session actually starts to lend a helping hand)
3.Whizz’ in the kitchen to bake some goodies, make up lolly bags etc to donate for the cake stall
4.Additional helpers for ticket collection, support student backstage drop off pickup and more…
