2025 ‘Let’s go the movies’ Concert

Join us for a star-studded celebration as our dancers bring the magic of the movies to life on stage! From animated adventures to musical moments, this fun-filled concert is a special opportunity for our students to proudly perform for their greatest fans – you!
What’s so special about a Bluebird concert:
FOR ALL AGE GROUPS
We welcome all of our dancers to participate — even our littlest Baby Bluebirds are invited to take part in a special performance with their grown-ups on stage!
SHORT AND SWEET (JUST 30–45 MINUTES!)
Our concerts are purposefully kept short so that families (and little attention spans!) can enjoy every moment without the overwhelm. You’ll love every minute.
NO MAKEUP NECESSARY
We don’t believe little ones need makeup to shine. Children are welcome to wear a bit of blush or lipstick if they’d like, but there’s absolutely no pressure.
NO PRESSURE – JUST JOY!
There’s no expectation for dancers to know every step perfectly. We keep it relaxed, with no extra rehearsals outside of class, so it’s a positive and stress free experience for everyone involved.
CONCERT PREP FITS GENTLY INTO CLASS TIME
We also understand that some children, for whatever reason, might not be able to attend the concert – so we make sure concert preparations don’t take over precious class time. Dancers will simply be learning a fun, special dance with their classmates as part of their regular lessons.

To ensure our dancers get to perform and show off their hard work to a full audience, we have kept ticket prices very reasonable. Tickets can be purchased for $28.00 each. (+ booking fee, which 100% of profits go to Children’s Charities)
Children under 3 attend for free unless they need their own seat. To keep the experience enjoyable for all, please step outside briefly if young children become disruptive.
We’ve done our absolute best to fit siblings into the same show, but it hasn’t been 100% possible for everyone, so we also have tickets available for those families who have siblings/dancers performing in multiple shows at a discounted price of $18 per ticket per show.
Phase 2: Starts Monday 13th October. Additional tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. No limit on how many tickets can be purchased.
Concert Location
Our concert will be held at Star of the Sea theatre Manly, within the grounds of Stella Maris College. Star of the Sea Theatre is located near the northern end of Manly Beach at Queenscliff, on the corner of Collingwood Street and Iluka Avenue. Parking is available at the northern end of the beach or in the surrounding streets…
Please be aware that parking could be limited due to Nippers activities in Queenscliff beach at this time. If possible, recommend public transport as the easiest and quickest way into Manly. If you choose to drive, dropping off dancers and one adult at the school before finding a parking spot might be a convenient option. Carpooling is also recommended to minimise congestion.
